QR National operates two Seafreighter services on the North Coast Line, servicing importers and exporters between the BMT and QR terminals at Bundaberg, Gladstone, Mt Miller, Biloela, Rockhampton, Mackay and Townsville.  Containers can be transferred to and from other trains in Townsville to service Cloncurry, Mount Isa, Innisfail and Cairns.

QR National also operates an interstate service from Brisbane to Sydney and Melbourne.

QR’s National’s South West Seafreighter operates five days a week between the port and Toowoomba, Oakey and Dalby.  This service primarily caters for the export of grain and cottonseed, as well as imports to the same area.

Pacific National runs five services a week to and from the BMT to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth on Monday to Friday.
