Environmental Reports

To provide you with more information on our environmental activities, we have developed a series of Environmental Monographs on specific topics that have some environmental relevance to the port or our operations, such as Stormwater Management, Shorebirds, and Dredged Material Management.

The monograph series will be regularly updated to reflect changes, providing details on the technical aspects of our environmental management programmes.

The monographs currently available are:

Shorebirds of the port: A large number of migratory waders (10,000) use the Port of Brisbane as a high-tide roosting area, making the port one of the more significant sites in Moreton Bay.

Stormwater management 1: While there are no significant heavy manufacturing oeprations located at the Port of Brisbane, effectively managing stormwater is a component of our environmental management system.
