Bill McElwaine
General Manager Corporate Services
Bill’s responsibilities include the full range of human resource functions, including recruitment, performance management, employee development, health and safety, industrial relations, EEO and training. Bill is also responsible for knowledge management, records management, the library and the Integrated Management System.
His objective is the development and implementation of:
- high-quality human resource initiatives and practices that maximise the contributions of its people
- high-quality systems that support the Corporation’s business objectives and identify the Corporation as a quality organisation through external audits.
Bill has worked in a number of positions within the organisation, and has developed an extensive knowledge and understanding of the Corporation and its people.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Administration.
Cathy Knight
Senior Manager People and Culture
Cathy is responsible for the development of the staff’s capabilities to ensure that the organisation is well positioned to meet future demands.
She has 25 years' experience in the human resources area, and in particular employee development within the defence and banking and finance sectors.
Naomi Walton
Manager Learning and Organisational Development
Naomi is responsible for the development, implementation and management of the organisation’s succession planning strategy.
Michael Menso
Manager Safety and Quality Systems
The Manager Safety and Quality Systems is responsible for managing the Corporation’s Integrated Management System (IMS) which includes quality, safety, precautions, health protection, injury prevention, damage control, emergency plans, oil pollution response and environmental safeguards.
Peter Ashton
Manager Employee RelationsPeter’s main areas of responsibility include: Industrial Relations inquiries and negotiation of Certified Agreements; monitoring of the Corporation’s Aurion-based Human Resources Information System; EEO reporting; recruitment and selection; and job evaluation.
Under the Corporation’s Integrated Management System, he is also responsible for employee induction, as well as accident/incident reporting procedures and analysis.
Marie Walker
Manager Corporate Information
Marie is responsible for the management of corporate knowledge and records, as well as the coordination of staff training requirements, and the corporate library.
