Executive Team
Jeff Coleman
Chief Executive Officer
Jeff's focus is on leading the organisation to achieve the goals established by the Board and shareholders as set out in our Statement of Corporate Intent.
This requires a balanced approach to short- and long-term goals, and setting strategies to ensure that the Corporation and the port community are planning for a prosperous and sustainable future.
Darryl Mutzelburg
General Manager Finance and Business Services
Darryl is responsible for commercial activities of the port, including development of new business opportunities and the management of relationships involving shipping lines, importers and exporters, and commercial property leases. He is also responsible for business development marketing activities.
Darryl is also responsible for financial operations and information technology.
Gerry Johnstone
General Manager Port Development
Gerry is responsible for the planning, construction and maintenance of port facilities and infrastructure, and dredging and reclamation activities.
Significant infrastructure works, terminal and wharf upgrades, roadworks, earthworks, and services upgrades, will be required over the next five years to meet ongoing demand.
Peter Keyte
General Manager Port Operations
Peter is responsible for improving shipping and landside services to the port, the operation of the BMT, emergency resonse and maritime security.
He is also responsible for the development of information technology solutions to improve the integrated movement of goods through the port and the BMT; and to ensure security strategies satisfy international ISPS Code requirements and regulations of the Maritime Transport Security Act 2003.
Bill McElwaine
General Manager Corporate Services
Bill is responsible for the development and implementation of human resources practices, enterprise bargaining, employee development, knowledge management, and the Corporation’s safety and risk management systems.
Rick Morton
General Manager Planning, Environment, Community
Rick is responsible for the planning, environmental and community issues that affect the port and the Corporation. These responsibilities include managing the port's strategic port land and property, the environmental and social impact of the port, and the operation of the Visitors Centre.
Jenny Ryan
General Manager Northshore and Harbour, and General Manager Bundaberg
Jenny is responsible for project-managing the master planning for the future redevelopment of Northshore Hamilton, an 80-hectare precinct at Hamilton, which includes 63 hectares owned by the Port of Brisbane Corporation. Jenny manages the Northshore Development Group - a division of the Port of Brisbane Corporation which has been established to oversee the master-planning process, infrastructure development and ultimately the renewal of the site.
Jenny is also responsible for the management of the Corporation's four boat harbours and the Port of Bundaberg.

Bill Tranberg
Senior Manager Infrastructure Planning and Chief Engineer
Bill is responsible for the technical management of all our design and construction activities. Bill's team is currently examining a range of different ground-improvement techniques to ensure that reclamation areas at the port can be developed in line with demand.
